Each project runs in its own environment with its own identity. Here is a short overview. Follow a link to step into that project's world.

Plant-based nutrition

RECIPE

Visit website

RECIPE builds an AI-supported recommender engine for complete, individualised plant-rich eating, designing plant-based meals for healthcare settings that get protein quality, taste and nutritional adequacy right at the same time.

Project Alpha

Visit website

Project Alpha develops the Alpha-Tool, which calculates meal-level protein quality (MPQS) from amino acid composition, protein digestibility and personalised protein requirements, for researchers, dietitians, chefs and foodservice teams working on healthy, plant-rich meals.

Microsunset

Visit website

Microsunset is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie doctoral network training young scientists in micronutrient research, ensuring future sustainable diets deliver essential vitamins and minerals. It also builds a web tool for the absorbable micronutrient content of foods, meals and diets.

Biological ageing

Bio-Compass

Visit website

Bio-Compass explores how feedback on biological age can motivate healthier habits and reduce health disparities. It validates ageing biomarkers and tests personalised nutrition, exercise and lifestyle plans across Dutch regions, supported by data science, sensors and real-world studies.

Sensing Age

Visit website

Sensing Age identifies nutritional strategies for healthy ageing in middle-aged and older adults. It links dietary factors to molecular and omics-based biomarkers of ageing, then tests a strategy in a randomised dietary intervention.
